Many people come to mind when someone asks me who is important to you and usually the one that sticks out is that of my brother Matt. This happens to be interesting because my brother is not only on my bad side but my good side as well. He did a lot of older brother torment to me when I was little but I always had fun with him when we went to video game arcades and watched TV. When he is around maturity is the key to his respect or else it's hard to enjoy his visits. Now that I am older it's easier to appreciate that but when I was younger it was hard to understand. Another reason I might think of my brother is because I don’t get to see him that often because he lives all the way in Arizona.
My brother's, actually my stepbrother's, first name is Matt and he is about 27 years old. He lives down in Phoenix, Arizona and works by producing TV news. Back about 11 years ago though when I was 6 he lived with us. We would enjoy watching shows like Transformers and G I Joe and playing video games. He also occasionally played cruel jokes on me but what older brother doesn't. Even then though we did not hang out as much because he was 17 and was out with his friends or at work so we did not do much other than that.
As we got older I matured more but he was already off to college. We saw him maybe once or twice a year so once again I had little time to hang out with him. The good thing is usually when I see him it's for about a week so we get to do a lot. My favorite time with him is the time we went to Universal Studios with him because I was at a place where him and me could hang out and do lots of stuff together.
A couple of years later I am here now writing about him and the great thing is now we see eye to eye. I am old enough to do most things with him and we hardly disagree on anything because his lessons about homework, the way to act in front of people and just life have made me the person I am today. All I can do is look forward to the next time we meet.
